Protocol of Examination

 * Patient has to first report at reception counter in registration time for O.P.D. between 9    a.m. and 12 p.m. or between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. on all weekdays.

* Pre payment consultant's fees at the reception counter is compulsory.

* Post Operative patients must wait in the waiting hall while their files are traced.

Patient has to wait in waiting hall for his/her turn to be examined by Optometrist who   would    take the history, check the vision, carry out refraction, etc..

* Thereafter patient would be seen by the senior consultants in the consultation chambers.

* It may take some time for all these check up to take. Patients are requested to kindly    wait patiently for their turn as the time needed for the management of each patient    cannot    be predicted.

* Patients with prior appointment would be given preference. Appointment can be taken at    the reception by phone or by personal contact up to 1 day prior to the day of    appointment.    An appointment fees would be taken for the same.

* Despite an appointment patient may have to wait for some time for their turn to come    though preference would be given to those with prior appointment.

* After the senior consultants have seen the patient he/she may be asked to undergo    further    investigation as advised by the ophthalmologist .

* Investigations or Procedures as advised by the ophthalmologist may be carried out the    same day or a later date depending on the urgency of the procedure and the    convenience    of the patient or/and doctor.

* Any charges for further investigation / procedure can be found out at the reception and    payment has to be made in advance prior to the procedure.

* For any surgical procedure unless an Emergency prior date for surgery has to be taken    from the reception in coordination with the Operating Surgeons.

* Those wanting to get operated through Panel through our Cash-Less Facility need to    contact the help desk for the same. Processing the papers may take a few hours to a day    as prior permission may have to taken from the concerned authority. Kindly bear with us.
