Cataract surgery is being performed by very advanced Phacoemulsification machine which has been imported from Switzerland (Oertli). This Phacoemulsification system has the latest technology to carry out cataract surgery through a very small incision and in a very safe manner. Tirupati eye centre is the pioneer in the fields of foldable and multifocal intraocular lenses and topical anesthesia surgery which are the latest in cataract surgery. The consultants are now doing the sub 1 mm Microphaco surgery or cold phaco surgery which is the new advancement in cataract surgery being carried out at very few centers in India and abroad.
